Behind the search form there are MySQL queries active, specific tasks for the database. Fields are combined with a logical AND. The more specific a query is, the more fields you can fill out, the better will be the result – and better to read.
The auto-increment function is based on AJAX technology, that is checking the query for logical correct informations. It is context-sensitive. An example: If you type Garamond into the field Name, the field Designer will only show up those designers, who really have created a Garamond. To leave this function, the Escape key is your friend.
The abbreviations in the field Medium have the following meanings: B – lead, F – photo typesetting, PS – PostScript, T – TrueType and O – OpenType.
